Ciao Bella Firenze!

We are in Florence with wifi! The wifi is an unexpected and welcome surprise. I am so incredibly happy to be back here. I love this city, and showing Sharon and Kelly around has been wonderful so far. Yesterday was a long travel day -- plane from Mykonos to Rome, train from airport to train station, long wait at train station to activate our eurail passes, and finally the train to Florence. It is HOT here, but we have a beautiful and cool apartment. We settled in last night and then took a walk around the city. We got our first gelato and I introduced Sharon and Kelly to the Duomo, Palazzo Vecchio, Santa Croce and many other places. We stopped at Il Gatto e La Lupe (the cat and the wolf) for our first italian pizza (so good) and then wandered some more. We closed the night with another small gelato (we're only in Firenze for three nights- gotta make the most of it!) and came back to our apartment to wind down and plan for tomorrow. Kelly and sharon were watching TV and I was reading and all of a sudden I woke up a half hour later, having fallen asleep reading. I got up to check on Share and Kell and they were totally passed out too (so naturally I took a picture). Today we're planning on seeing (and eating) as much as we can! Ciao!
